Building a partnership with Nevin and her team at Return On Inclusion is a top priority for us at United Soccer Coaches. Now more than ever, coaches and athletes are craving the knowledge and tools to create more inclusive spaces on their teams and I believe the work Nevin is doing is holistic, practical, and transferable to all levels of the game. We want to provide members with the best forms of education and career development, that's where ROI comes in. Having access to the ROI Inclusive Leader training will help United Soccer Coaches members foster spaces that make room on their teams for inclusive excellence, not as add-on but as the DNA of their culture. My goal has always been to strengthen the connections of community within our game and to help our members elevate their experiences to become the best version of themselves. We have a responsibility to each other and the game to dismantle inequities, fight racism, and advocate for change where it's needed so all of us, coaches, players, administrators, referees, and fans can feel part of the sport we love just by being ourselves - that's what inclusion means to me and why I believe this partnership is paramount.
